The handover of the new Volvo A60H dump truck to the Gradenberg quarry

Mr. Daniel Hödl, Technical Manager of Operational Equipment Management South, made his way to Gradenberg near Köflach early on 15.01.2025 to take delivery of this heavy giant, which is approved for a load volume of almost 34 m³, from Ascendum Baumaschinen Österreich GmbH.

Among those present at the handover were the division manager Mr. Prok. DI Alexander Marka, operations supervisor Mr. Günther Schriebl, the future drivers of the skip and other employees of the Gradenberg quarry were present at the handover. The handover protocol was carefully completed together on site.

Technical highlights of the dumper include an engine output of 639 hp and a loading capacity of 55,000 kg. The A60H is currently the largest articulated hauler on the market and offers up to 40% more productivity, as well as outstanding fuel efficiency and the best possible exhaust aftertreatment.
