When examining transport systems, the measurement equipment used to date can diagnose issues across a maximum distance of 2 km. During cable screening operations, such as in tunnels, this can be a time-limiting challenge.

However, with the BAUR Viola TD + PD TaD2 cable testing and diagnostic system, we now have modern, high-performance equipment at our disposal that meets the highest safety standards. With a maximum test voltage of 44 kV_rms / 62 kV_peak and a propagation speed of 50–120 m/µs, it can test, analyse and diagnose issues over around 10 km in next to no time.
