From compulsory intern toSAP Process Manager

Muhammed Emin, 26 years oldDigitisation team
When I came to Austria in 2017, I first started learning German to prepare for my computer science degree at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. During my mandatory internship at PORR Equipment Services (PES), I was not only able to gain valuable experience, but was also impressed by the work and the team. These positive impressions strengthened my desire to continue working at PES after successfully completing my bachelor's degree.
However, I needed a Red-White-Red Card (work permit) for full-time employment in order to continue my career in Austria. PORR Equipment Services supported me in this by making me a job offer with which I could apply for the Red-White-Red Card. After about four months, I received my work permit and was able to start at PES in 2022.
In my current role in the Digitalisation team, my focus is on the logistics modules in SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 HANA, whereby we are concentrating intensively on the SAP S/4 HANA transformation. My main tasks include test management for SAP Fiori apps, the creation of Microsoft Power BI dashboards as well as responsibility as a process and identity manager for SAP.
I particularly appreciate the relaxed and respectful atmosphere in the team and the many opportunities to develop professionally and take on new challenges.
